Job description: in this internship position at Siemens Corporate Technology (previously, Siemens Corporate Research), you will be involved in research and development in the areas of statistical machine learning for medical diagnostics. The project will provide you an opportunity to extend and apply your knowledge in a challenging problem-solving environment. You will be encouraged to think out of the box, innovate and find solutions to real-life problems. Our group has a strong publication record in leading journals and conferences.
Duration: 3/6/9 months(immediate openings available; longer duration desirable)
Qualifications: Must be a graduate student (PhD students preferred) in CS / EE / Bioinformatics/ BME / Statistics or related field.
Experience: coursework and project experience in machine learning / biostatistics / bioinformatics.
Skills: Java/ C++, R, Matlab, Machine Learning tools like KNIME, Weka.
